A Love Story between the Sea and the Rock – Rosh Hanikra

On the border between Israel and Lebanon, the coast of Mediterranean Sea, there is a national park called Rosh Hanikra. It is also where Israeli and Lebanese leaders negotiated armistice agreement in 1949.

Taking the world steepest cable car, you can go all the way down to the cliff.

Also you will see some spectacular grottos (sea caves), where Mediterranean sea meets the rock.. They  are formed throughout ages.

As a key passage from Lebanon to Israel, a railway was built by the British from Cairo to Istanbul. Even though part of it was blown up after British withdrew from the Palestines, you can still find some trace today.
